Description:
The ideal candidate will have a mixture of strong technical expertise and project management experience, particularly in the areas of teacher professional development and technology for education.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical leadership for developing and coordinating teacher professional development (TPD) activities;
* Oversee implementation and reporting of TPD activities;
* Establish productive relationships with government, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders, including teacher colleges and training centers, and;
* Build the capacity of counterparts.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
* Ph.D, Ed.D or Master's degree in education or related field, excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Fluency in English required and working knowledge of Kiswahili preferred.
